Dr. Jerry Tarver, a native Texan, joined IPA so that he could move back to his home state. Dr. Tarver pursued a career in medicine because he wanted to help people who are facing traumatic health issues. His goal is to help patients understand what options are available to minimize pain so that they have a greater opportunity to experience the best quality of life possible.

Dr Tarver is married to his college sweetheart and together they have two wonderful children.  When not at the office, Dr. Tarver enjoys cycling for fitness and fun, playing drums and guitar, hunting, and attending college games.
